I have been working in the executive search and recruitment sector for over 25 years. I feel deeply privileged to have met some incredible people on my career journey and continue to do so every day.
In my time in this industry, one of the biggest things I have learnt is that we are all human. We have strengths, weaknesses, desires, ambitions and most importantly, we all have lives outside of work; there are so many different sides to all of us, not just what we see on the surface.
I spend every day talking to talented and inspiring leaders; many I have known for years and some I am meeting for the first time. I gain huge satisfaction from getting to know these people on a deeper level and then connecting them with each other in the right way and at the right time.
I am also a huge advocate for diversity and inclusion, in all facets but particularly in relation to supporting the neurodivergent community and advocating for women in technology. I remember clearly how excited I was to find my first female IT candidate in the early part of my career and recall what a rarity that was. That was a long time ago, back in the age of fax machines and Nokia Banana phones! Thankfully things have come a long way since then but we still have a long way to go.
I feel very lucky that this became my vocation. If you would like to connect in relation to the executive search and coaching work that I do, please reach out.
I would love to hear from you.
And here’s a little bit about me outside of work:
